The Whiskey Quebec 5.56 Purged builds on the successes of the standard model and adds core flow bypass gas ports. Purging reduces gas blowback while still providing a superior suppression regime across all ammunition categories. While being suppression purists, we get the draw of low-gas-blowback suppressors – nobody wants the black lung, pop.
Whiskey Quebec 5.56 Purged is the direct result of our listening to operators and developing cans for every need. In high-cyclic-rate shooting and other situations, the benefits of purging truly outweigh the need for maximal sound suppression. This process of listening to our users and customers is something foundational to Battle Born Supply Co., and we’ll continue to iterate and develop new products.
As with our standard 5.56 model, Whiskey Quebec 5.56 Purged is additively manufactured from Inconel 718 as a single, monolithic part, making it inherently less susceptible to failure. Our Inlet Array™ technology transits gases from the core flow through our patented baffle structures that are aligned with the ports on the distal end of our Purged™ variants. This ensures sufficiently high bypass airflow rate without an overly detrimental loss in sound suppression.
Aluminum titanium nitride (AlTiN) coated for superior wear and oxidation resistance, excellent high-temperature operation, and lower thermal conductivity than other coatings in the industry.
